I recently became aware of a service offered by zoomvillage.com in which you can make your own online newspaper. Sure, that’s kind of like a blog but it seems much more official and it’s really neat. There can be only one newspaper per town. The first one to create it in a town is the boss, editor, and mayor. Others, practically anybody, can submit stories and photographs and become contributors once gaining approval by the editor. I’m currently running the paper by myself and am trying to prepare content but it really is a lot of work and I’m hereby sending out the call to Beaufort natives or other people interested in writing, perhaps for business, politics, or opinion pieces. It’s a new website so there’s no money yet until we build up enough traffic to get some income from advertisements. But what it can be good for is your resumé. It might look pretty impressive to employers that you’ve contributed to a newspaper before. In any case, You can click on the link here (http://www.zoomvillage.com/newsHome.cfm?townID=1005) and peruse what I have so far. Write with me! I’d be glad to have you!

I’m excited for you! You are the perfect person to be editor-in-chief of a news outlet. Congrats! The site looks beautiful & professional. I think you’ll make a name for yourself there, Ninja.
